History
The Danish Society of Financial Analysts (Den Danske Finansanalytikerforening or 'DDF') was founded April 30th 1974 with approximately 100 members. Today, the Society has close to 1700 members.

History
CFA Denmark - at that time The Danish Society of Investment Professionals (DSIP) - was founded in February 2000.
Unlike most other European member societies of the AIMR, the Danish one was founded by members of an existing society: the 25-year-old Den Danske Finansanalytikerforening (DDF or The Danish Society of Financial Analysts).
The two societies enjoy a fully integrated co-operation that includes a joint secretariat, joint committees and events, and an overlap of board members. All CFA Denmark members are also members of the larger DDF, an organisation model that allows the broad membership of DDF to provide a sound basis for a wide spectrum of activities.
